How difficult is learning Russian?

Veröffentlicht in Russland Forum

How long does it take to get a basic knowledge of the Russian language? Is it very hard to learn (especially the writing)?

i have learned russian in St. Petersburg, an intensive course at IMOP. those teachers are specialists, even the chinese people in my class started speaking russian fluent after a while.

its a challenge, but once u grasp the structure, u will be fine.

i love russian language., i can express myself well in russian than in any other language.

    good luck

Do not have a reason and possibility to argue, unfortunately my English not so good yet )) But what I try to tell you, is that my own experience in learning English show me that even if you know everything about Present Perfect Tense it doesn't mean that you will use it in conversation. When I studied grammar I was not able to speak, then I changed system and gained result in 6 months. Yes I still do a LOT of mistakes , but I can hold conversation with native english, and that is more important for me. Now I'm going to study Russian, just for fun, but I can't find resemble system

Yes Of course, they do... Learning a language is a way to improve communication between people.
Children don't learn grammar the way we do before speaking native tongues, because the process is natural. It's a dialect between children and their relatives right from birth. They start with identification of sound, and so the child goes with the process within 3-5 years period and can even take up to 7-8 years. That’s why you see them learn languages in primary schools too.
You may not observe it but the process is continuous while the child grows.
For adults or foreigners, you have to make it academically to get better results within a short timeThis is not only pertaining to Russian; it is applicable to all languages.

Learning the basics of Russian is 6 months and if you can concentrate... You can speak excellently in 9 months.
Gramatically, just like in other languages, ther are rules to follow and that's the whole secret.

Don't be discouraged, Learning Russian is as easy as ABC.
I know for those who've been in Russia for many years without speaking Russian, it may sound funny but the fact is that if you get the right teacher who gets methodology, will you you what you want within 3-6 months.
It wored for me and I know what I'm saying. Get a professional and your basic Russian knowledge is guaranteed.
