Walk for the Poor

This years walk will be 'virtual'. Participants will walk independently at their preferred location. They may enlist sponsors for their efforts and are encouraged to send pictures of their walk experience. Those unable to walk may register as a 'spirit walker'. In the past 18 months St. Vincent de Paul Conferences in the Rockford area have assisted 1,433 households, representing 3,660 individual men, woman and children, and distributed $261,931.00 in direct aid to help people in need throughout Winnebago County regardless of religion, race, or national origin. All proceeds and donations from the event go directly to those people in need.
