Help !!! need a good school in Bahrain

Posted in Bahrain forum

I am looking for a good school in Bahrain for my daughter. She ha spent 3 years in Modern Knowledge School and has literally learned NOTHING. Can anyone please advise me which school would be the best for an 11th grade student. I have been told that the Idian school is by far the best , and I was thinking of Al Naseem school, but I am not really sure ... Any help is will be much appreciated..
Thanks

There are several Indian schools in Bahrain. Among the best are The New Millenium School (part of Delhi Public School which is an excellent institution) and the Indian School. It is possible that not all have the same level of standards and it is also possible that changes have happened over the years. Today students who have not started early in Indian schools tend to avoid them because the level is too high and often they cannot follow. On the down side it is said that the focus is too much on studies, mainly math and science, and there are not enough extra-curriculum activities that contribute to having a well-rounded personality.

Indian schools are fun houses?? Not so from what my husband was told last time he had a meeting at the ministry of education of Bahrain.

Saint Christopher has recently received an international award as best international school worldwide.

Finally since Linda's daughter is in 11th grade, how could she be 3 year old?

if your daughter is 3 yrs old.then any kind of kindergarden will be great.i dont think indian school or other schools are right at this moment.if ur daughter is old enough then i think alhekma or ama school are great.other schools are really worst.indian school, saint christopers these are just fun houses.u wont learn anyhting.

    Dear Linda,
I have done a lot of research concerning schools in Bahrain and it seems to me the best schools are:

    Ibn Khaldun
    Al Bayan
    Saint Christopher
    Sheikha Hessa Girls School

Indian schools have indeed very high standards but they might be too high for your daughter if she has been 3 years in Modern Knowledge School which I am afraid has bad reviews.

    Best of luck
