Bella Noche will feature the new contemporary ballet "Danzas Cubanas" with choreography by El Paso Ballet Theatre's own Reniel Basail set to the music of Cuban composers Ernesto Lecuona and Ignacio Cervantes and Spanish composers Enrique Granados and Isaac Albeniz. For this piece, El Paso Ballet Theatre's dancers will perform live onstage with classical pianist Dzmitry Ulasiuk.

Dzmitry Ulasiuk has amazed audiences since 1998, performing solo recitals in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Belarus, Estonia, and Croatia as well as in China, Japan, Spain, Costa Rica and the United States. A winner or laureate of multiple international piano competitions, Dzmitry has made two commercial CDs with a third one in the editing stage. He holds several degrees and diplomas from the Belarus State Academy of Music, TCU, and SMU, plus a doctoral degree in Piano Performance at the University of North Texas, and will be the guest artist with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra this October.
The mixed bill will also offer excerpts from the classical favorites "Paquita" (music by Ludwig Minkus) and "The Awakening of Flora" (music by Riccardo Drigo) and conclude with "Huapango" (music of Jose Pablo Mancayo), an orchestral arrangement of popular dances from the eastern state of Veracruz, Mexico, which is always much loved by local audiences.
