Camp Good Grief

At Camp Good Grief, kids have one thing in common-they all know what it is like to lose someone very special.

Camp Good Grief is a grief-focused camp that provides a safe and fun environment to share stories and engage in music, art, outdoor activities, games and organized cooperative activities.

Camp Good Grief provides a support system to children and teens ages 8-17 who are grieving the death of a loved one. Throughout the weekend, campers will have the opportunity to:

Identify ways to cope with change
Improve self esteem
Learn to recognize and validate feelings
Identify safe ways of grief expression
Recognize that having fun and celebrating are still a part of life
