Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Derby June 2022

Topping the bill is the appealing and gripping writer and comedian Eddy Brimson. Known as a ‘geezer’ he is one of the most entertaining comedians on the circuit. Having made many TV appearances including Eastenders, Absolutely Fabulous, The Thin Blue and Casualty, he has also featured in TV adverts such as Snickers and Bacardi Breezer. Travelling all over the world as a stand-up he once even did a gig naked!!!!!

Opening the night will be the intrinsically funny Lloyd Griffith comedian, choirboy and an ‘aspiring’ goalkeeper who has supported Jack Whitehall and Rob Beckett on tour. He has also made numerous TV appearances including as regular host on Sky Sports' Soccer AM and on Comedy Central Live at The Comedy Store. As a choirboy in Grimsby, he sang on ‘The National Lottery, with Dudley Moore who played the piano. Then later in life sang backing vocals on a Bee Gees album. A professional singer but always a natural jester he turned to stand-up and with his down-to-earth cynicism and lively attitude, he beguiles the crowd.

Completing the line-up is the high energy musical comedian David Hoare.

Compere for the night will be Barry Dodds, winner of Best MC, Midlands Comedy Awards for 4 years running, who enthrals everyone with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit.
