Neil Simon's "Laughter on the 23rd Floor"

The first of the two shows that Outcast will preview in the US is "Laughter on the 23rd Floor" by Neil Simon. This piece, which will be presented in Germany and Scotland in 2023, will be performed Oct 6-8 at 7:30pm and Oct 9 at 2:30pm the Kenwood Community Properties Auditorium, (former Oneida Ltd Admin Building), 181 Kenwood Ave. in Oneida, NY.

"Laughter" is the playwright's love letter to his early career as a TV writer alongside the likes of comedy legends Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks. Locked in an ongoing battle with NBC executives who fear the show's humor is too sophisticated for Middle America, the writing and fighting of the team expose the social and political undercurrents of the 1950s, reflecting back the ongoing tensions in today's America.

The cast for the U.S. preview stars Todd Allen, Melissa Brass Maggio, Thom Capozzella, Vin Cavo, Wyatt Galusky, Leslie Reilly, Linda LaPorte Stoodley, Rick Signorelli and Rick Stoodley. The play is directed by Eileen Tiller-Clanton. Warning: some adult language.
