Rose Max: Bossa Nova in Bonita
Miami's New Times Newspaper elected Rose Max the Best Female Vocalist and seven-time winner of the International Brazilian Press Award for the Best Female Brazilian Singer Residing and Performing in the USA.
Rose Max and Ramatis were born and raised in Rio de Janeiro City, the capital of bossa nova and samba, and moved to the United States in 1993 where they continue to have a hectic performing schedule. They have become highly recognized in the Brazilian, Spanish, and American communities and won many awards-Rose, Best Brazilian Singer, and Ramatis, Best Brazilian Producer and Musician.
Ramatis is a guitar and bass player, songwriter, musical producer, arranger, and sound engineer.
Rose, a singer/songwriter is the great-granddaughter of the conductor Cupertino de Menezes and granddaughter of the guitar player Manuel de Menezes, both legends of the early Brazilian music.
