Scarborough Celebrates Black History

Heritage Skills Development Centre (HSDC) invites you to join us for a special event: Scarborough Celebrates Black History on Friday February 28, 2020 at The Burrows Hall Community Centre located at 1081 Progress Ave from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The event is supported by the Government of Canada.
This event will showcase and celebrate Black History through cultural and artistic presentations, live musical performances from local artists, poetry, drum & dance, games, interactive activities, guest speakers, community leaders and much more. The event is FREE and refreshments will also be served.
The event aims to foster pride, celebrate black history and achievements with community members and beyond. This is a great opportunity to network, learn about black history, culture, share with others as we join hands to strengthen and enrich our communities. We have lots of exciting activities planned for you, your friends and family.
