October breast cancer fundraiser at Tampa Bay Atomic Tattoos

Tats for Tatas is the fun name given to the breast cancer fundraising campaign Atomic Tattoos created, that runs October 1st - 31st. Visit any Tampa Bay Atomic location throughout the month of October and help raise money for breast cancer research. A minimum of a $5 donation is required to receive a goodie bag. Every person who donates will be entered into a random daily drawing where they could win one of two $50 Atomic Tattoos gift cards. 100% of all donations go to breast cancer research.

Atomic Tattoos is a company that loves to give back. For nearly 15 years, Atomic has been donating to breast cancer charities during the month of October. The promotion began as a way to promote breast cancer charities and has increased each year as Atomic grew and word spread. To date, Atomic has raised over $100,000 for breast cancer research. Atomic Tattoos does an annual toy collection drive (Toys for Tats in partnership with the marines Toys for Tots program) during November and December. They have contributed to local charities offering mental health services by doing semicolon tattoos and even created a charity to help Cuban artists called Amigo Tattoos. Atomic has also helped their own staff when medical emergencies or accidents occur.

This year body piercer Dorian Mayorga even donated over $1000 of his pay on a Friday the 13th to a local charity, Metropolitan Charities. "Metro is a great organization that I've personally used when I was younger, uninsured, and scared. They have always been excellent to me and everyone else I know who has gone to them." says Dorian. "I'm really happy and proud to work with Atomic and to be able to use my career to give back. I look forward to all of our charity events like our yearly Tats for Tatas campaign."
