A Rorate Caeli Mass: An Advent Tradition Honoring Our Lady

A Rorate Caeli Mass will be offered at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 9, 2023, at 6:30 am. Father Paul Check, Shrine Executive Director, will offer the Mass. Cardinal Burke, Shrine founder, will give the sermon. The Shrine Church will be illuminated only by candlelight and sunlight. The elevation of the Eucharist coincides with sunrise. A Rorate Caeli Mass is an ancient Advent tradition that honors Mary, the Blessed Virgin Mother of God. The Mass will be in the Traditional Latin Rite.
