LOTS OF LAUGHTER IN LEEK

Funhouse Comedy Club brings another great night of laughter to Foxlowe Arts Centre, Leek on Thursday April 2nd.

Topping the bill is the mischievous and engaging Tez Illyas, who appeared on ‘Live at the Apollo’ in 2018 and had his own BBC Radio 4 series, based on his 2015 Edinburgh Show ‘TEZ Talks’, with a second series released at the beginning of 2018, followed by a third at the end of 2018.

Opening the night will be Steve Harris. Energetically delivering clever, sometimes sarcastic lines, he will enthral the audience with his hilariously obscure observations and mischievous persona. A sheer bundle of fun!

Also appearing is Pete Teckman who was crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at Leicester Comedy festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self-deprecating and observational humour. He personifies the taking of difficult, painful situations in living and turning it into great comedy.

Completing the line-up will be Ben Turner with his sharp humor and playful views

Compere for the night is co-star of the recently released ‘The ParaPod Movie’ Barry Dodds, and winner of Best MC, Midlands Comedy Awards 2015, 2016, 2017 and 18, who captivates his audiences with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit.
