#ourstoriesnyc Storytelling by Lgbtqi People of Color Community Showcase

#OurStoriesNYC is the city’s premiere showcase for LGBTQI storytellers of color.

Launched in summer 2019, the program creates safe and affirming spaces for LGBTQI individuals to come together and connect through shared experience and creative exchanges focused on life experience. The project workgroup convenes monthly to share stories in written, spoken, visual and multimedia forms. Showcase presentations such as tonight’s program are where storytellers of all disciplines present these works with the public, in collaboration with community partners such as Word Up Bookstore. Refreshments served.
