  Hi, Viber and other free sms applications are quite common in the Phils. now. Try WeChat, KakaoTalk too. If your friend is using a Blackberry phone you can use BBM.

  why not try to use this link? www.freetextphilippines.com this is what i use to send sms to my friends there whenever i don't have load.sometimes i uses yahoo or gmail or viber
