I herad Moscow has more than 100 parks within the city. Could you give me some advice? Which one is your personal favorite? Would you recommend for example Neskuchniy Garden or Izmaylovsky Park?
Thanks a lot,
Ulrik

If you are fit enough you can visit 3 parks in one day. Start from a famous view point Vorobievy Gory near Moscow State University. Then go down to the Moscow river embankment. Here you can rent bicycle or roller skates. It is a very green area. Follow the river path on the right. Or take a river tram. In 40 -60 minutes of walk you will enter Gorkiy Park. Take a break in small caffes with a company of ducks and squirrels. If you still full of energy follow the river again. The next stop is an Art House. There are exhibitions inside and outside the House, and sculpture park as well.

Sokol'niki is my favorite one. It's a place where my parents were walking.
There is really nice skating-ring there in the winter. My favourite park!

I agree, Kolomenskoe is very pleasant and I also like Izmailovsky park. They are both good for long walks, picnics etc.
