Hi,
I am originally from Ecuador, South America. I have an Austrian residency (NOT the citizenship), but I am currently living and working in Germany and I know I may apply for the German residency (Daueraufenthaltstitel) which I know is possible.
My question and fear is, if I apply for a German residency, I guess I immediately lose the Austrian residency. What happens then if I dont get the German residency? Do I end up with none and must leave the EU?
