Query on mobile connection

Hi All,

My cousin sister is planning a trip to south africa next month. She beat me to it. :)

She is considering activating international roaming on her existing SIM. However, I feel taking a local sim for the duration of her visit would be a better idea.

Which one is better in your opinion?
