I am new here to the Saarland area. I moved here late last year from the USA. I will be living here for 3 or more years and I would love to meet some new people!

Hi Thomas. I am in the same boat. I am living in Saarland, having just taken up a job here, so will be here for the forseeable future! My wife cannot join me until October 2011 due to visa/passport restraints, but she can visit for up to 3 months (not much use, as she is working full time and long hours in London).
I have made friends in the office I now work in, but, theyre work friends, not social friends. So, I am also looking to meet new people, and perhaps amongst the English speakers as a preference for now, as I speak next-to-no German, but have good enough French.
Where abouts are you in Saarland? What do you do?
