When I was to Vilnius, I try to practice my russian a little bit with Lithuanian friend but they simply refused and they answered to me in english while are know they can speak perfectly Russian...
Apparently is really badly seen becayse of the history of Lithuania with Russia. But it's a long time ago no? Don't you think it's a little bit easy to stay upset about history years after? It's better to move on, isn't it?

You say , it's a long time , the opression of russians and let bygon be bygon. But NOT, my friend! We will suffer from damned russian opression VERY LONG. Russians have spoiled everything we had - our mentality, our economy, our past and our present! Because of that we really don't want to speak russian
