Finding work in the Azores

My name is Triin and I am an Estonian exchange student in the University of Coimbra. I came here with my boyfriend Dargo in August and although he sadly could not find work here, he was luckily offered the opportunity to work for an Estonian company via the Internet.
Although I finish my studies here in January, we are not yet ready to return to our home country, as we have become fond of the Portuguese people and culture and find the Azores an especially interesting place. Therefore, we would be more than happy to find work there and stay on the beautiful islands for a couple of months or for a longer time.
I am currently working on my MA thesis in Translation and Interpreting Studies and Dargo already holds MA degree in Science and Engineering (Geodesy).
In addition to our other work experience, we have worked in a hotel in Malta, and thus have experience in tourism industry, which is probably the field we could most probably find work in the Azores. In addition, we love being outdoors and are very adventurous. We are not afraid of hard work and long days and would be more than willing to work on weekends and start our days early and finish late.
As Dargo is very tall and has athletic build, he would be perfect for demanding physical work. Triin loves communicating with people and spending time with children. As Dargo is also interested in everything related to the sea and fishing, he would be glad to find work in a fishing boat or in a port. I would prefer the most to work in a guesthouse or a hotel. However, we would be glad to do any work available in the Azores. We both speak fluent English, but our Portuguese is still very basic.
We would be more than thankful for any kind of information related to finding work :)
